Camp Program

2025 marks the 33rd year of Bob Bellizzi's Grand Slam Baseball Camp!  Since 1993 we have been bringing the finest baseball instruction to area children.  With some of the Capital District's best current and former college/high school coaches and players on our staff, our Camp provides an excellent setting for learning the basic skills and intricacies of the game.  All campers receive a free Camp T-shirt and a Camp Certificate with Coach's Evaluation. Come join the fun this summer!

A typical day at camp!

 Daily Activities:   9 AM - 3 PM

After attendance and warm-ups, on a typical day campers will receive instruction and participate in drills in throwing, fielding, base running, and defensive play.  Hitting instruction and batting practice will usually be the final morning activity.

At the break between morning and afternoon baseball field activities, campers will have lunch in the pool complex warming area, followed by a period of recreational swimming.

The afternoon is devoted to scrimmages, where campers are organized into teams, and other fun activities.  Campers are supervised at all times by Camp staff.

Campers need to bring a lunch (or money to buy lunch), hat, baseball glove, water bottle, swimsuit, and towel, and are encouraged to bring sunscreen.  We provide drinks during lunch, and water during camp sessions.  Refrigeration is not available for lunches.  PLEASE LABEL baseball glove and all other gear with the camper's name.  In the event of rain, campers will meet in the pool pavilion warming area.
