Welcome to the 2024 season of the Bob Bellizzi Grand Slam Baseball Camp! We are excited to begin our 32nd year at Bethlehem's Elm Avenue Town Park, where we continue to bring the finest baseball instruction to area children. With some of the Capital District’s best current and former college/high school coaches and players on our staff, our Camp provides an excellent setting for learning the skills and intricacies of the game of baseball. |

Since our first year in 1993, Bellizzi Baseball Camp has been providing parents with a daily 6 hour, organized outdoor activity for their children, with the confidence they will be safe and well supervised. Each year, our Camp receives official certification from the Albany County Health Department to operate as a summer baseball day camp, in accordance with New York State Public Health Law and State Regulations. In addition, Health Department staff perform a minimum of two on-site compliance inspections of the Camp each summer. Some of the requirements we must meet in order to maintain Health Department certification include:
- Having counselors who hold current First Aid, CPR, AED, and Lifeguard Management certifications from the American Red Cross.
- Clearing all staff through the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services and the U.S. Department of Justice.
- Conducting reference checks of all staff.
In addition, our counselors are high school baseball coaches at CBA and Bethlehem Central; teachers, including elementary special education; and coaches of summer baseball teams.
We are a family-run business and have resided in the Town of Bethlehem for over 45 years. We recognize the importance of giving back to our community and have been decades-long supporters of Town baseball programs.
